... AMOUNT RAISED = $2450 ...
which is the largest amount yet raised in this annual raffle

Fabulous. Many thanks Mokees.

AND THE WINNERS ARE...

1st Prize ... Mike Stoll

2nd Prize ... Nick Geralis

3rd Prize ... Laura Piccari

 4th Prize ... Geoff Sharman

And The Story Is...

  • The total is made up of ticket sales and donations worth $2390 and...
  • ...Geoff Sharman donated 4th prize, then as chance would have it, won his own gift in the draw!
  • He donated it again on the night for an immediate raffle which raised another $60 making the total $2450.
  • Our Treasurer then actually sent $2500 because he likes round numbers.

BUT THAT'S NOT ALL

  • Nick Geralis won second prize and has donated it back to the club to raffle again to raise even more for the Royal Children's Hospital.
    Update
30th July ... At the Annual Presentation Dinner Nick's hamper was split in to separate items for raffle and another prize was added by committee. The raffle result was a further $365 for RCH.
  • AND ... the Mackesy family donated a Dinky Parachute Moke for committee to auction, which was also held at the dinner. After a thrilling bidders' battle another $350 was raised for RCH.

Acknowledgments

  • Peter Shackleton for managing the organisation, promotional texts and secure conduct of the raffle.
  • Rhonda for Facebook postings.
  • Doug for web page and promotion emails.
